The very first book (and which I think is better) to be published with this effect was: Magic Moving Images - animated optical illusions-, By Colin Ord.
An cool demonstration of this book can be seen here:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5W5JJXtqhw
It’s got 26 amazing animated illusions in the book compared to Gallop which has only about 9. It also has varied content, a galloping horse, other familiar objects and animals, scenes, people, 2D & 3D. geometric shapes,
Magic Moving Images is for all ages, kids to adults alike.
With its simple text Gallop is for kids only.
